Performances that can last for days and years: Yuhananov's theater is equated to life, each project endlessly develops in time and space, and the premiere is not the finale but one of the stages of creating the world; the process of creation is the only possible result.
Films that form a multi-hour anthology: Yuhananov was among the first to conquer and appropriate new media technologies, his visual archive includes the multi-volume video novel "The Mad Prince", documentation of theatrical works that turn into independent, existing on the borderline territory of cinema and performative spectacles objects of art, collage video experiments that melt pop culture, captured by television "opium for the people."

To show everything done by Yuhananov, it would take many years. The new TheatreHD project does not aim to embrace the immense and focuses on what was done in the present, the 21st century, when Yuhananov headed the ELECTROTHEATRE STANISLAVSKY. The former Stanislavsky Theater, often close to boulevard entertainment, became an author's alchemical laboratory, where multi-part dramatic and opera cycles, mysterious experiments, and colossal performances met with the audience, revealing the usually backstage, rehearsal-transformational experience. Throughout the year, we will be putting together the latest history of Yuhananov's myths and worlds in the online cinema of the TheatreHD portal and at selected screenings in major Russian cities. We promise a year of play, a year of magic, a year of art that knows no boundaries.
